FT991 MENU Setup: Items 1 through 30


I cover Items 1 through 30 in the Setup MENU portion of the FT-991 in this video. This includes such things as Fast, Mid, and Slow AGC time settings, "My Call" Indication display time,
Main Screen Display Color settings, LED and TFT Display brightness adjustments, Peak Hold time for the S Meter and Po, SWR, and other meter functions, Noise Blanker adjustments (width, Rejection, Threshold), Touch Screen Audio Beep level, Time, GPS / RS232C settings, and 232 Time Out settings.

I will upload items 31-60 in the Setup MENU shortly until all settings have been covered, at least as far as I have been able to determine. Yaesu's manual is somewhat 'terse' in describing these functions in their User Manual and leaves some of the Abbreviations used for the user to figure out.

Please hold off any questions until all four videos (or so) have been uploaded but I would be glad to hear any inputs concerning things that other users of the FT991 have figured out.
