I suggest buying the original FT-991, it's a great fantastic unit.

ReplyDeleteSorry but this new version cost €1600. Thats 420 euro's more than the first 991 model with bad AM. Plus 120 euro extra for the HRI box.
Vhf/uhf is only 50 watts on the 991, this should be at least 100 Watts both. Also i mis the analog signal meter on the yaesu 991 models. Noisy fan on old 991 model. No N connectors for vhf uhf.
I rather go fo the Icom 7300 , or a old icom 706 all mode without tv screen.
